Global Zone Hostname Change on Solaris 10

To change the hostname, there are only 3 files that need to be changed:

/etc/hosts

/etc/nodename

/etc/hostname.<network interface

The following hosts files are no longer used in solaris 10.

/etc/net/ticlts/hosts

/etc/net/ticots/hosts

/etc/net/ticotsord/hosts

Sync and reboot the host, you're done.
